Meet the Cambridge Gymnastics Staff

We know that the quality of the instructors makes a difference in your child’s experience with gymnastics. Over the years we have interviewed dozens of highly-qualified, energetic and patient instructors, and have hand selected only the finest we have seen. We are confident that your child will look forward to spending time with all of our instructors at any level! Jessi Beaton-Hellman

(General Manager and Head Team Coach)

Jessi grew up in Cambridge and is even a former GABC team member!!! She has been a coach at GAB since 2012 making it a total of 9 years at GABC! Jessi is a certified USAG instructor and Head Team Coach. She considers her strengths in coaching adapting to each individuals learning styles for their to reach their peak potential.

Leela Paine-Masters

(Assistant Manager and Birthday Party Coordinator)

Leela came to GABC in the fall of 2004 as a recreational gymnast and continued until she was 14. She then began coaching in the summer of 2010, where she developed a love of coaching and helping kids to work hard at developing new skills! Leela is a certified USAG instructor, USAG W200 Certified, American Heart Association CPR and First Aid certified . Gymnastics has had such a big impact on her life that she currently is studying exercise health science and biology at UMass Boston and hopes to tie her love of sports and health science to a future career as a nurse practitioner in sports or emergency medicine.

Alexis Boudreau

(Stars Program Director)

Alexis has been doing gymnastics in our recreational program since the age of 3, and has been at GABC for almost 12 years! Alexis started volunteering as a coach in training at GABC in 2014, and has developed a love for teaching! Alexis is a USA Gymnastics certified instructor and has her U101 Certification from USA Gymnastics. She loves working with the girls in the stars program and encourages them to work to their full potential. Alexis is currently in high school at Lexington High School hopes to pursue a career in sports medicine and wants continue her education in coaching and gymnastics as well.

Alana Paine-Masters

Alana began gymnastics at GABC in the fall of 2004 as a tumble tot and quickly progressed through the stars program to team. She competed to USAG level 5, and holds the highest USAG level 4 vault score at GABC to this day! Since she started high school at SHS she has played volleyball and softball. Her favorite skills are back handsprings and aerials.

Cristian Pereira

One of our newest fall coaches is Cristian who is coming to us as a crossfit level one trainer at Crossfit on the Hill and  American Heart Association CPR certified . He attends UMass Boston and is studying Exercise Health Science. He hopes to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Chovy/Nora Cheberuez- Orzak

Nora, fondly known as Chovy, is a cambridge native and attends Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. She came to us as a recreational gymnast 3 years ago with a lifelong love of the sport.  She began as a CIT and has since developed into a coach. She is currently a member of the CRLS gymnastics team. In the future, Chovy wants to go to university for nursing or education.

Hannah Cravotta-Crouch

We are welcoming Hannah as a new edition this year as our primary front desk staff member. Hannah grew up in Arlington and went to Minuteman Regional High School for graphic design. She grew up playing basketball, soccer, and softball. She is excited to learn more about gymnastics, GABC and most of all to meet all of you!!! Stop by the front desk at any time to say hi!

Jevonn Brogna

Kasie Corcoran

Kasie came to us in 2016 as a former cheerleader. She is a Cambridge native and has had a lifetime of Cambridge cheerleading. She loves to encourage her kids to believe in themselves and to try, try, and try again because they are more capable than they think. She is studying psychology at UMass Boston.

Kira Weiss

Kira has spent 10 years and counting at GABC. She originally began as a gymnast and camper, developing into a CIT. She then began coaching in 2013. She has grown up in Arlington doing competitive cheer for most of her life. She loves working with the preschool classes, and is even in the education program at Arlington High. This year she is a senior at AHS and plans to attend college in MA next year!!!

Melissa Grajeda

Melissa is another Cambridge native and has been a coach with us for about 3 years. She just graduated from Lesley University with a major in Graphic Design. Now she is planning to attend graduate school to get masters in education. She is currently a member of Lesley’s cheerleading team. She loves coaching all the beginner recreational classes such as Tumble Tots and Acro Kats.


Meghan has been with us a gymnast for 8 years and counting. This will be her third year as a Coach in training/assistant! She loves working with tumble tots in both summer camp and classes. Her favorite event is floor, specifically tumbling. Her favorite tumbling pass is a roundoff-triple back handspring-back tuck.

Nichole Dickinson

Nichole is joining us from Salem Massachusetts. She was a competing gymnast for over 16 years. She feels the sport of gymnastics gives her a joy that is incomparable, it pushes the body and mind, to be better, to be stronger. Only with the support, praise and smiles of peers, parents and coaches alike. She feels being able to guide the youth of today in gymnastics, to watch the kids finally get a pullover or stick a cartwheel on high beam,is more rewarding than anything else. Now that she is on the other end of the fun, she has never been more motivated or focused since she was an actual gymnast. She feels honored to pass on all that she has learned and is excited to continue learning along this journey in the gym.  “Life is short, Spend it upside down”

Sydney Cicero

Sydney is another coach who used to attend GABC, and also participated on the CRLS gymnastics team from 2012-2015. She has worked at GABC as a coach for 4 years. She is currently pursuing a biology degree at UMass Boston, and plans on pursuing a career in life science education in the future. Her favorite event is floor, and her favorite skill is a front tuck.
