Children must have attended at least 2 full years of gymnastics and be evaluated by a Gymnastic Academy of Boston instructor to be eligible for this class. Children will focus on learning running tumbling, kips on the bars and cartwheels and full turns on the balance beam.
Children signing up for Advanced girls must have previous experience performing running tumbling skills, all basic uneven bar skills and be mentally comfortable working advanced acro-skills on the balance beam.
The Advanced Girls class is run along side the Intermediate II class as an example of how far recreational gymnastics can take you. This class is also great for gymnasts who may have attended Team either at another gym or at another time and no longer wish to compete but still want to keep up their gymnastics skills for other disciplines such as cheer or just for personal fitness.
