Meet the Staff

Ivana PeterkovaIvana Peterkova (General Manager)

Ivana came to United States from Czech Republic in 2000. She joined our G.A.B. family in January 2005 and worked with children of all ages and levels; Preschool to Boys Team. G.A.B.’s Boys Team has been her biggest pride till this day. She had started it with only 4 boys in 2005 and with a great staff by her side the Boys Team keeps on growing every year and so are the accomplishments of all the boys on the team. Ivana loves working with the staff, our gymnasts and the parents, but she also enjoys working out and LOVES spending time with her horses and dogs at home. :-) :-) :-)


Jessica ChabotJessica Chabot (Girls Team Head Coach/Prep-Opt. Head Coach)

Jessica has been coaching for the past thirteen years, and has been personally involved with the sport she loves since the age of three. In 2004, Jessica produced the Level 4 vault champion and the Prep-Optional All-Around champion in the novice division for the state of Massachusetts.  Here at our G.A.B. family she started a Prep. Opt program that keeps on growing every year.  Jessica lives in North Attleboro with her husband and her two children


Allen PhinneyAllen Phinney (Recreational Gymnastic Director/Instructor)

Allen has been with the G.A.B. family since 2006. Beginning at age 7, Allen has been involved in gymnastics for the past 20 years and, aside from gymnastics, has an extensive background in Hip-Hop, Jazz and Ballet.  His teaching career began at the University of Costa Rica where he taught English as a Second Language, helping to support his training as a competitive Latin Ballroom Dancer.  Allen says, “The most rewarding thing about coaching here are the relationships I have formed with the students, staff and parents.  I love watching the timid and un-coordinated leave each class a bit more extroverted and graceful and am proud to be a part of developing students’ characters and growing self-confidence.”


Kim DeMarcoKim DeMarco (Preschool Director)

Kim has been a part of the G.A.B. family since 2005 where she had begun with her daughter Kaleigh, as a Mom in one of our shadow classes.  She joined G.A.B. staff in August 2008 as our Preschool Director and Instructor of our Preschool classes.  She enjoys teaching the preschoolers, especially loves watching the face of a child when they accomplish new skills.  She ran neighborhood daycare out of her home, while she stayed home with her 3 children.  Her daughters Brittani and Kaleigh are both part of our competitive team.


Julie PetersJulie Peters (Office Director)

Julie has a degree in Accounting from UMASS, Amherst and has worked in many different industries including Advertising, Manufacturing and Non-Profit.  She has been a parent with the gym since 2005 when her two sons joined.  In 2008 she joined our staff, began working in the office and slowly became very valuable asset and team player to our business. Besides her daily work routine, she loves watching the preschoolers having so much fun in the morning classes and she also enjoys watching her son and the rest of the boys team compete.


Shannon RobertsShannon Roberts (Birthday Party Director, Camp Director, Gymnastic Instructor)

Shannon started gymnastics at the Hockomock YMCA as soon as she could walk. She continued with the sport until high school when she started cheerleading and became captain her senior year. She earned her Bachelors Degree in child psychology and sociology from Bridgewater State College and is certified in CPR and 1st aid from the American Red Cross. Since joining the G.A.B. family in 2008, Shannon has taught preschool and grade school classes, along with becoming the party and camp director.


Cristina CorbeilCristina Corbeil (Gymnastic Instructor)

Cristina took gymnastics at Martin’s School of Gymnastics and she also participated on her high school team.  She attended Roger Williams University and has a degree in paralegal.  After working at a Boston law firm for several years, she started a family.  Cristina has been with our G.A.B. family since 2006.  She loves teaching children of all ages, whether preschool or grade school classes.  She  especially loves watching them gain confidence and enjoys sharing in their excitement when they gain new skills.  She is looking forward to another great year here at G.A.B.!

Holly CrottyHolly Crotty (Team Coordinator, Girls Team Coach, Gymnastic Instructor)
Holly has been involved in the sport of gymnastics since 1991 and has been involved in coaching the sport since 1998. Holly first started out at Martins School of Gymnastics as a USAG compulsory team member. Her passion for the sport continued through High School where she competed in State Championships and qualified and competed in State Individuals. Since working here at GAB, Holly has produced an all around Level four State Champion as well as a Level four Floor State Champion.  Holly has been a member of the G.A.B. Family since 2009.


Jarrod PerryJarrod Perry (Boys Team Head Coach, Gymnastic Instructor)

Jarrod has been into gymnastics since he was 6 years old where he practiced at Martins school of gymnastics. He competed in the sport on and off till he got to the boys team at Attleboro high school where he competed in his first year.  Throughout high school he coached the boys at Martins school of gymnastics while doing so in his junior and senior year he helped his team win the State championships and in his senior year was elected to be team captain.  He then went to the national’s team in his senior year.  Since then he has always missed and loved the sport until now where he has the opportunity to coach these boys and girls at our G.A.B. family to the best of their abilities.


Amy SantosAmy Santos (Girls Team Coach, Gymnastic Instructor)

Amy has been a recreational and team coach for the past 12 years. She was a USA competitive gymnasts from age 12-18. She also competed for Attleboro High School where she broke the schools vault record and helped brake many event and all around team records that still stand. She competed at the State individuals meet all four years on vault and also on floor and all around a couple of the years. She went on to get her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Rhode Island College. Through this whole time her home base was in the gym coaching. She is very excited to join the Gymnastics Academy of Boston team.


Dave HudsonDave Hudson (Tumbling Director, Gymnastic Instructor)

David has been training students of all ages in gymnastics, martial arts, and dance since he was fourteen years old, in competitive and recreational settings. He became a professional dancer by age sixteen and a National Kung-Fu Champion at age seventeen. Gymnastics has always been his favorite art to teach due to the acrobatics which this sport has to offer. David also earned a Dance Major at Dean College. We are excited to have him as a part of G.A.B. since 2006 as he is great with children of all ages and his great personality touches everyone.


Charles CrombieCharles Crombie (Gymnastic and Birthday Party Instructor)

Charles has been part of the G.A.B. family since 2006. He is a current team member here at G.A.B. and is looking forward to growing with us not only as a team member but as part of our growing staff as well.


Cassandra BravettiCassandra Bravetti (Gymnastic and Birthday Party Instructor)

Cassie received her Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Education and French from Rhode Island College. Aside from teaching, Cassie enjoys skiing and cake decorating. She joined the G.A.B. family in 2010. She loves that she can be a part of helping the children enjoy themselves during classes and at the birthday parties. Cassie looks forward to growing with G.A.B.


Alexandra Zelinski (Birthday Party Instructor)

Allie goes to Norton High School and enjoys Dancing, Cheerleading and playing Softball. She was a student demonstrator for two years in her town’s Popwarner Cheerleading league. She loves working with children of all ages and playing fun games with them during G.A.B.’s birthday parties. Allie loves to watch them learn and grow through gymnastics.
