Ivana Woodason (General Manager)

Ivana came to United States from Czech Republic in 2000. She joined G.A.B. in January 2005 and loves working with children of all ages. Over the years Ivana taught preschool and grade school classes, but her biggest pride is G.A.B.’s Boys Team that she had started with 4 boys in 2005. With a great staff by her side the Boys Team keeps on growing every year and so are the accomplishments of all the boys on the team. Ivana loves working with the staff, all the students and our customers at G.A.B. but she also LOVES coming home to her family, horses and dogs. :)

Jessica Chabot (Girls Team Head Coach/Prep-Opt. Head Coach)

Jessica has been coaching for the past thirteen years, and has been personally involved with the sport she loves since the age of three. In 2004, Jessica produced the Level 4 vault champion and the Prep-Optional All-Around champion in the novice division for the state of Massachusetts.  She has also started a Prep. Opt program at the Gymnastic Academy of Boston in Plainville.  Jessica lives in North Attleboro with her husband and her two children.

 

 

Allen Phinney (Recreational Gymnastic Director/Instructor)

Allen has been with GAB for the past 2 ½ years and is the current director of GAB Plainville’s Grade School Program. Beginning at age 7, Allen has been involved in gymnastics for the past 20 years and, aside from gymnastics, has an extensive background in Hip-Hop, Jazz and Ballet.  His teaching career began at the University of Costa Rica where he taught English as a Second Language, helping to support his training as a competitive Latin Ballroom Dancer.  Allen says, “The most rewarding thing about coaching here are the relationships I have formed with the students, staff and parents.  I love watching the timid and     un-coordinated leave each class a bit more extroverted and graceful and am proud to be a part of developing students’ characters and growing self-confidence.”

 

Kim DeMarco (Preschool Director)

Kim has been a part of GAB for 4 years.  She had begun at GAB with her daughter Kaleigh, as a Mom in one of our shadow classes.  She joined GAB in August 2008 as our Preschool Director and Instructor of our Preschool classes.  She enjoys teaching the preschoolers, especially loves watching the face of a child when they accomplish new skills.  She ran neighborhood daycare out of her home, while she stayed home with her 3 children.  Her daughter Brittani is level 5 on our Pre-op team, and Kaleigh is level 3 pre-team.

 

Julie Peters (Office Director) 

Julie has a degree in Accounting from UMASS, Amherst and has worked in many different industries including Advertising, Manufacturing and Non-Profit.  She has been a parent with the gym since 2005 when her two sons joined.  In 2008 she began working in the office and slowly became very valuable asset and team player to our business. Besides her daily work routine, she loves watching the preschoolers having so much fun in the morning classes and she also enjoys watching her son and the rest of the boys team compete.

Shannon Roberts  (Birthday Party Director, Gymnastic Instructor)

Shannon started gymnastics at the Hockomock YMCA as soon as she could walk. She continued with the sport until high school when she started cheerleading and became captain her senior year. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in child psychology and sociology from Bridgewater State College and is certified in CPR and 1st aid from the American Red Cross. Since being with G.A.B. since 2008, Shannon has taught preschool and grade school classes, along with becoming the party and camp director.

 

Cristina Corbeil (Gymnastic Instructor)

Cristina took gymnastics at Martin’s School of Gymnastics and also participated on her High School team.  She attended Roger Williams University and has a degree in Paralegal. After working at a Boston law firm for several years, she started a family and now has two children.  Cristina has been with G.A.B. staff since 2006.  She loves working with the children here and is looking forward to another great year.

 

Holly Brady (Girls Team Coach, Gymnastic Instructor)

Holly has been involved in the sport of gymnastics since 1991 and has been involved with coaching the sport since 1998. She started out at Martins School of Gymnastics as a compulsory team member. Holly then continued her passion for the sport through High School where she competed in State Championships and qualified for State Individuals.  Holly has been a member of the Gab staff since 2009.

 

 Jarrod Perry (Boys Team Head Coach, Gymnastic Instructor)

Jarrod has been into gymnastics since he was 6 years old where he practiced at Martins school of gymnastics. He competed in the sport on and off till he got to the boys team at Attleboro high school where he competed in his first year.  Throughout high school he coached the boys at Martins school of gymnastics while doing so in his junior and senior year he helped his team win the State championships and in his senior year was elected to be team captain.  He then went to the nationals team in his senior year.  Since then he has always missed and loved the sport until now where he has the opportunity to coach these boys and girls at G.A.B. to the best of their abilities.
 

Kirk Vorona (Boys Team Coach, Gymnastic Instructor)

Kirk has been coaching Gymnastics for over ten years and been with the G.A.B. family since 2008. He was a member of the European Men’s National team for 5 years and during his gymnastics career he has been a member of the Moscow and Big Apple Circus. Here at G.A.B. he enjoys working with the boys team and recreational boys classes.

 

Amy Santos (Tumbling Director, Girls Team Coach, Instructor)

Amy has been a recreational and team coach for the past 12 years. She was a USA competitive gymnasts from age 12-18. She also competed for Attleboro High School where she broke the schools vault record and helped brake many event and all around team records that still stand. She competed at the State individuals meet all four years on vault and also on floor and all around a couple of the years. She went on to get her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Rhode Island College. Through this whole time her home base was in the gym coaching. She is very excited to join the Gymnastics Academy of Boston family.
 

 Donald Armfield (Birthday Party and Gymnastic Instructor)

Donald started gymnastics at the age of 9 at the Attleboro Y.M.C.A. and then continued at the Martin School of Gymnastics. He is with the G.A.B. family since 2007 and his continues loyalty is being appreciated every day. He loves to teach gymnastics to children of all ages and assisting during the boy’s competitive team practices as well. But his specialty is our birthday parties. In addition of being a great coach at G.A.B., Donald is a proud parent of 3 beautiful girls. We are happy to see 2 of his 3 daughters every week during their classes at G.A.B.

 

Charles Cromblie (Birthday Party and Gymnastic Instructor)

Charles is a current team member here at G.A.B. He has been part of the G.A.B. family since 2006 and is looking forward to growing with us not only as a team member but as part of our growing staff as well. Charles is currently enjoying working our Birthday Parties and is getting ready to be trained for teaching our recreational classes as well.
